World-renowned DJ Bijal opens the world’s first hotel where each room comes with dope beats.
When is the last time you checked into a room and added your favorite Snoop Dogg to the hotel-wide playlist for everyone to rock out to? Probably never. Until now.
At the new trendy Brooklyn-bred Hotel BPM, which fittingly stands for ‘beat per minute’, hotel guests can find themselves popping bottles of champagne and bopping their heads to every genre of music throughout their entire stay.
The music-themed boutique hotel is the brainchild of DJ Bijal (aka Mr. Everywhere), who, after having toured around the world as a deejay, sought to create a unique hotel experience for the young, music-loving traveler.
“I’m always in and out of hotels because I travel for my djing, so I thought, I would love to have a hotel that has everything I love. A hotel that was like made just for me”, he says in an interview with BIBI Magazine.
The hotel features 76 sound proof rooms with volume controls – for those who might actually want to sleep, a rooftop overlooking Brooklyn and Manhattan, and, of course, a central Bose sound system that pumps beats 24/7 - all for around 200 USD a night.
Located in Sunset Park and only 2 subway stops from Manhattan, the hotel is an ideal location to experience hip Brooklyn, chic Manhattan and a super dose of the NYC music culture.
